Ghoul

The Ghoul (Homo vatheki) is one of the many sentient races of Terra, which were originally a experiment of the Alpha, and part of the United Terran Races.

Taxonomy & Evolution[]

The Ghoul was genetically cataloged in 1786, by a man named William Beckford. They are a undead species evolved from revived Humans, having very little amounts of vampire-DNA in 5500 BCE, being closely related to the Zombies, Draugrs and similar Undead.

Size[]

The height ranges from 160 to 190cm, with a weight of 50 to 80kg.

Physical Features[]

Ghouls have got leathery skin, which often tends to be green to grey on males and brown on females. They have hollow eyes, a bat-like flat nose, roundly pointed ears and visible fangs. Their hands and feet are equipped with claws like those of cats. Due to being Undead, their thorax is visible to see. Normally, they do not have hair, but it often happens that they grow grey or white hair.

The Ghouls originally have originated from Sumer, but have spread over the Akkadian Empire in 2334 BCE and over the Persian Empire in 550 BCE. They prefer to live in desert regions

so far, they are not known to have settles onto other worlds.

Behaivour & Culture[]

Ghoul are known as a species of thiefs and killers, with their greatest sins being greed and gluttony. They are often seen stealing coins, seeing no worth in paper, and also known to be grave robbers, stealing valuables or eating corpses from graveyards. They are known to be a monarchic race, with animalistic hiarchy, following the survival of the fit enough. They are often associated with hyenas, keeping them as pets.

They typically wear not many clothes, including tattered pants for both genders, and a red bondage over the chest for females. Ghouls which did not grow up in Urban Areas or the wild are known to be more civilized, and often being taught in Archaeology, detective-works,grave-digging and assassination. In terms of religion, they normally follow either pre-islamic beliefs or none. The Ghouls eventually joined the United Terran Races in 09/03/2011.

Diet[]

Ghouls are known to be a carnivorous race, mostly feasting on carcasses, taking a role as humanoid scavenger, but they also feast on juvenile animals and also drink blood, whcih has a muzzy reaction on their mind.

Reproduction & Life Cycle[]

Ghouls reach sexual maturity at the age of 15 to 17 years, mating all around the year. After a gestation period of 9 months, the female gives birth to one child, which hangs at its mother's back like a young simian. The lifespan ranges from 170 to 200 years.
